Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an inspector with power plant experience to support QA activities, including boiler tube inspections, welding data tracking, and collaboration with authorized inspectors. The candidate should be familiar with boiler pressure parts, piping codes, and welding procedures.

The role requires working at heights on scaffolds and exposure to extreme conditions. The ideal candidate can certify to Level 2 VT, PT and MT inspections and contribute to outage reports and repair

Qualifications

• Experience with boiler tube inspections and related welding processes.
• Knowledge of quality inspection practices in power plants.
• Ability to interpret welding procedure specifications (WPS).
• Capable of climbing scaffolds and performing inspections at heights.

Responsibilities

• Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Perform cleanup duties and material handling as needed.
• Work with Authorized inspector on code work.
• Develop and track weld data sheets.
• Perform boiler tube inspections identifying boiler leaks and tube conditions.
• Write outage reports with inspection findings, status of repairs and recommendations.
• Able to certify to Level 2 VT, PT and MT inspections.
