Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Hand tools related to type of work to be performed.
• Experience as maintenance technician.
• Above average ability to communicate with others and work as part of a team.
• Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Knowledge of rental property management standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process work orders, manage inventory and daily schedules, upload photos, and communicate via email and messaging platforms.
• Complete an average of six work orders per day.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance work independently.
• Interact professionally with tenants as needed to assess issues, clarify work orders, and schedule repairs.
• Communicate with office staff when issues require escalation to ensure appropriate vendors are assigned.
• Order parts and create follow-up work orders for additional repairs.
