Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a Field Property Claims Specialist in Detroit/Chicago area. You will perform on-site inspections, assess damages, determine coverage, and guide policyholders through the claims process with empathy.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in claim settlements or equivalent training.
• License eligibility within 90 days of hire where required by state.
• Strong knowledge of subrogation, coverage analysis, and claim handling policies.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned claims and assess damages on-site.
• Contact insured and affected parties to set expectations and gather information.
• Conduct coverage analysis and determine applicable limits/exclusions.
• Prepare damage estimates using claims software and document all activities.
• Complete claim closure in the system and refer complex cases as needed.
• Support CAT response efforts and coordinate with internal units as necessary.
