Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to cover Denton, Lewisville, and Grapevine TX. The role requires visiting policyholder homes, assessing damage, and negotiating settlements. Travel is required, with a company vehicle provided.

The starting wage is $27.67/hr with potential for additional compensation based on experience and transferable skills. Residency in the TX area is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience preferred in retail or service.
• Construction or Insurance experience desirable.
• Excellent communication, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations by visiting policyholders to assess property damage and liability.
• Use claims software, company vehicle, and laptop to write estimates in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate subrogation opportunities and report incidents to appropriate agencies.
• Negotiate fair settlements with policyholders to close claims.
• Interact with stakeholders including policyholders, agents, and contractors.
• Travel to/from policyholder homes as part of field work.
