Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; advanced education preferred.
• Experience as a claims adjuster or Capstone training preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to obtain licenses as required.
• Working knowledge of Xactimate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts field investigations to resolve residential and commercial property claims.
• Examines forms, policies and records to determine coverage and exposure.
• Adjusts property loss claims of varying severity and complexity.
• Sets loss reserves and prepares written reports.
• Prepares settlement and denial letters as needed.
• Documents damage and prepares estimates using Xactimate.
• Travels to loss locations in assigned territory and communicates status to clients.
• Maintains timely case load and adheres to regulations and service standards.
