As part of the Field Property Claims Team, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by using your investigative, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to resolve homeowner claims in a fast-paced, detail-oriented team environment. Your responsibilities will include traveling to loss sites to conduct thorough investigations, analyzing coverage, and preparing repair estimates. Each day presents new challenges as you utilize advanced homeowner products and services to assist customers through the claims process.

The Field Property Claims Adjuster will primarily serve insured homes within the Charlotte, NC (28215) area. Candidates should reside nearby to succeed in this role.

Training for this position includes approximately 5 months, with up to 2 weeks of in-person sessions.

This role is eligible for a company car if mileage requirements are met. Additional details will be provided upon progressing to the recruiter stage.

We offer a Sign-On Bonus for experienced, licensed new hires. Bonus amounts vary based on experience and license validation.

In this role, you will:
  • Investigate and evaluate onsite to resolve complex coverage and damage issues, including preparing comprehensive repair estimates, inspecting roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and basements.
  • Manage moderate to complex claims independently from initial notice to final closure.
  • Work in the field daily, with occasional desk work.
  • Explain coverage, assist with damage itemization, emergency repairs, and temporary housing arrangements.
  • Coordinate with vendor services such as contractors and emergency repair teams.
  • Participate in catastrophe response when needed.
Qualifications

  • Ability to independently manage workload with sound judgment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with multi-system computer operations.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Licensing as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and organize your day effectively.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
