Job summary

National General, a part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Field Property Adjuster to investigate and confirm loss details for complex homeowners claims. You will determine coverage, negotiate settlements, and prepare comprehensive damage estimates with strong Xactimate skills.

The role covers moderate to complex residential claims in Minnesota, with a preference for candidates near Roseau, East Grand Forks, Moorhead, Alexandria, Marshall or Worthington.

Qualifications

• Experience handling agricultural, farm, and ranch claims preferred.
• Strong estimating skills with Xactimate proficiency.
• Ability to manage complex residential property claims.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals to create damages estimates for complex 1st party homeowner losses.
• Builds mastered relationships with internal and external customers.
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in complex files.
• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company; assists leadership in training.
• Recommends process improvements.
