Job summary

Pinnacle Propane, LLC is seeking a motivated Bulk Propane Driver and Technician to join our Texas operations. The role combines delivering propane via a bobtail truck with installation, maintenance, and repair of propane systems for residential and commercial customers.

Ideal candidates are safety‑conscious, mechanically capable, and able to work independently in the field. The position may include after‑hours support and on‑call rotations, with a strong focus on customer service and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year propane service, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, utility, or related field experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Hazmat Endorsement or ability to obtain.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate obtainable.
• Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Knowledge of propane equipment, regulators, piping, and appliances preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer and mobile device skills for documentation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane safely via bobtail truck and perform required pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Install, repair, and maintain propane tanks, lines, regulators, and related equipment.
• Perform gas leak tests and safety inspections before putting systems into service.
• Diagnose and repair propane appliances and equipment at residential and commercial sites.
• Respond to emergency service calls and follow safety procedures.
• Educate customers on safe propane usage and system maintenance.
