Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead fire alarm, security, communications, and nurse call installation projects across diverse facilities.

The role focuses on security installation projects, overseeing full lifecycle from design to field installation with adherence to codes, SOPs, and safety standards. You will guide teams, manage budgets, and pursue change orders while maintaining professional client interactions.

Qualifications

• Two years of engineering or trade school training preferred.
• Experience in HVAC controls, BAS management, fire or security systems is desired.
• Proficient in project management software and financial accounting systems.
• Travel will vary by project assignment; may exist outside geography.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and control assigned projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee commissioning to Johnson Controls standards and resolve issues.
• Coordinate change orders and drive margin improvement on projects.
• Prepare and present cost estimates and proposals to customers.
• Staff projects by recruiting and developing team members.
• Interface with trucking teams to ensure proper staffing levels.
