Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead complex industrial automation projects from proposal through startup and closeout.

You will own scope, schedule, cost, and risk while coordinating cross‑functional teams across engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, and site execution. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in project management within process manufacturing or related engineering environments, with strong communication and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive project‑management experience in industrial projects.
• Experience leading projects in process manufacturing/industrial automation.
• Experience managing projects through multiple lifecycle phases (engineering to closeout).
• Direct accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with vendors/subcontractors.
• Experience with project financials, change orders, and invoicing milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent industrial automation projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Establish execution strategy, governance, milestones, and decision structure.
• Validate scope, pricing, terms, and deliverables at handoff; identify gaps early.
• Serve as primary customer-facing project leader and build relationships.
• Own the integrated project schedule across engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, and startup.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, resource plans, invoicing, and margin.
