Job summary

Rototec LLC, an established geothermal drilling company expanding to the United States, seeks a mechanically inclined construction professional to grow into a Field Project Manager with our U.S. operations.

You will coordinate drilling projects from planning through completion, manage field crews and equipment, and communicate with customers and engineers on site. This is a field-focused role requiring travel across the Northeast; geothermal experience is not required as training will be

Qualifications

• Approximately 2-5 years of experience in construction, mechanical contracting, drilling, or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment.
• Experience on active construction sites.
• Good organizational skills and multi-priority management.
• Ability to communicate with field crews, customers and management.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, methods and geothermal practices.
• Basic ability to read construction drawings or willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities on geothermal drilling projects, including site prep and field crews.
• Review project plans, specifications, schedules, and scope of work.
• Plan upcoming work and ensure crews, equipment, and materials are ready.
• Monitor progress, costs, and quality of projects.
• Communicate with customers, general contractors, and engineers.
• Coordinate with field crews to keep projects moving safely.
• Identify issues early and develop practical field solutions.
• Attend jobsite meetings and share updates with management.
• Assist with project documentation and daily drilling records.
• Ensure work complies with project specs and customer requirements.
• Support safety meetings, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Monitor equipment needs and coordinate maintenance or repairs.
