Job summary

Rototec LLC is expanding from Europe into the United States with a focus on geothermal borehole drilling. We seek a Field Supervisor to lead on-site drilling operations and coordinate safety, training, and teamwork.

The role involves travel to multiple job sites, overseeing crews, and ensuring projects meet specifications, timelines, and budgets. We offer full training to apply your existing skills to geothermal work, a culture of safety, and opportunities for advancement as the Northeast growth

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, drilling, excavation, utilities, or similar industries.
• Leadership experience in field-based roles.
• Strong safety protocols knowledge and site coordination.
• Willingness to learn about geothermal drilling and practices.
• Travel up to 3 days per week; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate drilling operations on-site, including site preparation.
• Ensure work meets project specs, timelines, and budget.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, and other teams for smooth workflow.
• Lead and manage field crews for efficiency and safety.
• Provide training and support to team members, upholding safety standards.
• Conduct safety meetings, risk assessments, site inspections; implement corrective measures.
• Maintain a safe, organized site and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, ensure quality control.
• Ensure machinery is maintained and serviced to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment use and address mechanical issues.
• Maintain records of drilling activities, inspections, and usage.
• Ensure excavation complies with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate drilling operations on-site, including site preparation
• Ensure that work is completed according to project specifications, timelines, and budget
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other construction teams to ensure smooth workflow and project progress
• Lead and manage field crews to ensure efficiency and teamwork
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, ensuring high performance and safety standards
• Conduct regular safety meetings, risk assessments, and site inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective measures
• Maintain a safe and organized job site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Monitor site progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control
• Ensure that machinery is properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime
• Monitor equipment use and troubleshoot an mechanical issues that arise
• Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, progress, safety inspections, and equipment usage
• Ensure that excavation activities comply with all local, state and federal environmental laws and regulations

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in construction, drilling, excavation, utilities, or similar industries
• Leadership experience in a field-based role
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and site coordination
• Ability to troubleshoot and make quick, effective decisions
• Willingness to learn about geothermal drilling and new industry practices
• Ability to travel approximately 3 days per week as needed
• Valid Driver's license & ability to travel between job sites
