Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will coordinate with management and project teams to deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule, while growing with a dynamic and people-centric culture.

You will oversee subcontractors, recruit and develop staff, ensure QA standards, and manage risks and changes to maximize customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree in Electronics is preferred.
• Security Programming experience is required or preferred per job description.
• Experience with building automation, fire/life safety or electronic security systems is expected.
• Strong supervisory and organizational capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget and scope.
• Mentors and directs Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field.
• Recruits, hires and manages performance of team members.
• Coordinates and supervises subcontractors and ensures QA standards.
• Plans installation procedures and coordinates project changes to improve customer satisfaction.
