Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up and training on fire, security, and building automation projects. You will work with the project team to deliver within scope, budget and schedule, and supervise technicians and subcontractors on-site.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 5-7 years relevant.
• Preferred Experience: building automation, fire/life safety, or electronic security.
• Must be able to read blueprints/drawings.
• Frequent site visits and some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management of projects to ensure on-time completion within budget and scope.
• Coordinate installation plans and job procedures with Project Coordinator.
• Supervise Project Specialists, Installers, and subcontractors; mentor and develop staff.
• Recruit and hire Project Specialists and Installers, manage performance.
• Ensure quality installation per codes and company standards; provide customer training.
