Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join the team in overseeing project scopes, schedules, and budgets. You will collaborate with leadership to evaluate and execute work, solicit subcontractor proposals, prepare schedules, and support crews on site.

A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and timely communication drives project success. You will monitor budgets and profit margins, review change orders, and ensure accurate billing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in restoration/construction
• Knowledge of water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, asbestos, and rebuild remediation
• Valid driver's license required
• Healthcare-related roles may require additional screenings per client requirements

Responsibilities

• Understand, evaluate, develop, and execute the scope of work with leadership
• Solicit, receive, and approve subcontractor proposals within budget
• Prepare project schedules including crew and subcontractor timelines
• Support and manage job crews; assist with tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate job activity paperwork and inventories
• Keep daily logs of conditions, activities, and events
• Prepare reports and administrative documents for projects
• Monitor budget, gross profit margins, and schedules in real time
• Process change orders and manage approvals
• Lead daily safety meetings and arrange permits as needed
• Maintain daily reports, timesheets, equipment records, and material sheets
• Review opportunities for change orders and scope of work
• Assist with creating project schedules and issuing work orders
• Perform billing reviews to ensure data accuracy
