Job summary

Diakon Logistics is seeking a Field Project Manager in the Atlanta, GA area to oversee large-scale, multi-family appliance installation projects.

Field Project Manager – Atlanta, GA

About the Role

Diakon Logistics is seeking a Field Project Manager to oversee large-scale, multi-family project work and serve as the liaison between the builder, our onsite crew, and the client for appliance installation projects. The role requires experience in large-scale, multi-family builder/project operations and strong communication with builder foremen/supervisors and clients. The Field Project Manager will provide direction and accountability to on-site crews. You will travel to multi-family job sites across the Eastern U.S., inspect installs, meet with jobsite installation crews, and keep clients informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate movement across the life cycle of the project from pre-site walkthroughs, receiving product, offloading product, spread/uncrating product, installations, trash removal, deluxing product, and post-site punch lists
  • Inspect appliance installs on site and speak directly with builder foreman/supervisor when issues arise
  • Deliver weekly project reports to clients
  • Speak weekly with jobsite installation crews to review ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Report any product or site and/or installation concerns in real time
  • Document installs in an application that generates client-facing reports
  • Help track and inventory parts
  • Coach on-site crews – install techniques, communication with site management, documentation, and organization
  • Help recruit new job site installation crews and assess their readiness for job site placement
  • Identify and help develop new client relationships
  • Travel required up to 75%
What We're Looking For
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – comfortable coordinating across jobsite installation crews, site teams, clients, and internal staff
  • Disciplined documentation habits and comfort with applications that generate client-facing reports
  • A natural mentor who can coach others on-site
  • Willingness to travel up to 3 weeks per month across the Eastern U.S.
  • Lives in Atlanta, GA, metro area within local commute to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Preferred
  • Experience as an appliance installer, with the technical knowledge to inspect work and speak confidently to any issues found
  • Bilingual ( Spanish )

Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000 / DOE
