The Field Project Manager is responsible for overseeing our full kitchen remodel and cabinet makeover business from sale to project completion. This position requires knowledge of sales, remodeling, kitchen design, and management, including current industry conditions and network. Must have technical knowledge, scheduling, and organizational skills. Leadership of the bid process and project forecasting is required. Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation skills, including the ability to influence, negotiate, and explain complex processes to clients and staff.

Essential Functions
  1. Respond promptly to sales leads provided by Home Depot
  2. Schedule in-home measures with customers
  3. Apply program sales process; identify and recommend enhancements
  4. Prepare estimates of expected costs and scope of work
  5. Oversee design development
  6. Review labor bids with customers and submit to store for future purchase
  7. Accurately record and capture sales activities
  8. Manage work in the sales funnel
  9. Review kitchen cabinet layout with customer to ensure fit of design
  10. Establish rapport with customers and discuss all installation needs
  11. Deliver ongoing value to relationships with Home Depot associates
  12. Serve as primary point of contact for kitchen installations in specific stores
  13. Coordinate with external customers, stores, and sales force, managing all jobs in progress daily
  14. Perform job site visits during milestones and as needed
  15. Coordinate job scheduling based on SP availability and customer schedules
  16. Approve SP invoices, confirming negotiated pricing
  17. Proficient in permit applications and ensure permits are posted on site
  18. Track and close open permits as required
  19. Follow Lead Safe practices and file necessary paperwork
  20. Update systems with notes
  21. Coordinate with flooring or countertop groups if applicable
  22. Manage change order process
  23. Procure local prime contractors and vendors
  24. Conduct weekly construction progress meetings
  25. Track and report all financial aspects of projects
  26. Communicate effectively with managers, clients, contractors, and retailers
Education & Experience
  • Residential Kitchen Design remodeling: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Project Management: 3 years (Preferred)
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with consumers in relationship selling and project management
  • Attention to detail in measurements, calculations, and material ordering
  • Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and evenings
  • Support sales funnel activities and retailer training
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of construction documentation and sequencing
  • Understanding of value-engineering
  • Experience with Design Software 20/20 (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to travel within assigned market
