Job summary

Convergint in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will oversee site management, coordinate contractors, and ensure projects stay within scope, schedule and budget.

The role requires strong leadership, troubleshooting, blueprint-reading, and excellent communication. You will travel to job sites as needed and mentor staff while delivering customer-focused service in

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant field experience.
• Experience with building automation, fire alarm & life safety, or electronic security systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; strong math aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Supervises project specialists, installers and subcontractors on-site.
• Coordinates project activities with the Project Coordinator and ensures quality standards.
• Identifies project risks and helps implement strategies to minimize impact and cost deviations.
• Ensures installation quality in accordance with codes and company standards.
