Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, and startup across fire, security, and building automation projects. You will supervise field teams, coordinate with the Project Coordinator, and ensure work meets code and contract requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience, strong customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines. Expect frequent jobsite visits and collaboration with a dynamic, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong supervision and installation experience with building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security systems.
• Self-starter and able to work without supervision.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude; reading blueprints and drawings.
• Frequent jobsite visits and valid driver's license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with Security Programming.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Prepares installation plan and implements job procedures with Project Coordinator.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field.
• Coordinates subcontractors and ensures quality assurance standards.
• Provides technical support and training to customers; drives customer satisfaction.
• Identifies project risks and helps implement mitigation strategies.
