Job summary

S&B is seeking a Project Leader/Project Manager to provide on-site leadership for engineering projects from concept through field completion, commissioning, and start-up at the client facility.

You will partner with design/engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver scope safely, on schedule, and within budget, focusing on brownfield execution and effective owner–contractor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• 3+ years in project engineer/PM in refining, petrochemical, or industrial facilities.
• Strong ability to manage brownfield projects, field coordination, and owner-contractor interface.
• Capable of developing project scopes and supporting early planning.
• Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and execution planning preferred.
• Committed to safety, quality, and responsive client service.
• Willing to work in the field and travel to job sites.
• Pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope development, FEED through final appropriation and field execution
• Manage adherence to schedule and budget and scope changes
• Offer innovative solutions to client
• Assist with bid packages, technical evaluations, and procurement of engineered equipment
• Capable to handle multiple projects at different phases of execution at one time
• Continuous improvement by leveraging best practices, client standards, and lessons learned
• Develop project execution plans
