Job summary

S&B is seeking a Project Engineer to assist and support engineering design across multiple areas on very large projects, reporting to a Project Manager. May be placed in overall responsible charge of small to medium projects under $50 MM TIC.

Must be fully competent in the use of the S&B Project Management Manual, and be able to perform the duties as described, "Project Engineer/Manager Responsibilities." The role emphasizes coordinating discipline leads, cost tracking, and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Requires 5-10 years total engineering experience, four years in one or more discipline areas.
• Five years as Project Lead/Engineer; equivalent working knowledge may substitute.
• Must have working knowledge of the software packages and automated engineering/reporting systems used at S&B.

Responsibilities

• Assists in proposal development and client presentations.
• Develops well-defined project scope of work.
• Approves P&ID's revised or created for the project.
• Coordinates project teams and client groups to maintain schedule.
• Initiates project change orders when scope affects budget or schedule.
• Supports project close-out and archive documentation.
