Job summary

Socket.dev in Orlando is seeking a Project Engineer Intern for a 12-week summer program. You will support the project management team with subcontractor coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs, change orders), and progress reporting.

Learn estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and reporting while gaining experience with construction plans. You will interact with clients and managers professionally and contribute to project success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and taking at least one class.
• Knowledge of route surveying and scheduling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support PM with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs, change orders), and progress reporting.
• Learn and perform project management functions of estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
• Understand and learn construction plans.
• Interact with clients, managers, and employees professionally.
• Other assigned duties.
