Job summary

SPC Construction is seeking an Intern to apply engineering training at project sites. You will assist the project team across field conditions, drawings, scheduling, and document control, while learning through mentorship.

You must be enrolled in an Engineering, Construction Management or related program and be prepared to work on-site with the project staff, contributing to safety and quality on active projects.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university.

Responsibilities

• Assist with evaluation of field conditions and acceptance testing.
• Support quality assurance and quality control engineering materials testing.
• Apply survey knowledge to assist with project layout and checking conformance with plans.
• Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
• Provide document control assistance for correspondence and submittals.
• Assist with preparing and updating project schedule and coordinating responsibilities.
• Respond to field for design clarification and manage subcontractor field operations.
