Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer - Data Centers to deliver timely technical designs, drawings, BOMs, and quotes for BAC representatives and customers in the Americas.

You will develop mechanical/electrical designs to meet project requirements, ensure codes compliance, build BOMs, and collaborate across departments to support quotations and orders. Occasional travel up to 15% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 3+ years in mechanical design or related role.
• Proficient with Inventor and AutoCAD; strong technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment selections and customized 2D drawings and submittals.
• Develop mechanical/electrical designs per project requirements and standards.
• Evaluate design options to optimize cost, manufacturability, reliability and performance.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and customer needs.
• Build BOM for orders through fabrication and installation.
