Job summary

BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc.) in Jessup, MD is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate complex projects with customers, sales teams, engineering and operations. You will manage schedules, documentation, and contract requirements while ensuring profitability and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading scope reviews, coordinating with multiple departments, and driving on-time delivery. A PMP is a plus and Smartsheet experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other technical degree and 2+ years of experience in project management.
• Prior successful large or complex project management experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet.
• Strong verbal and written communications with customers.
• Negotiate through difficult issues without losing composure.
• Detail oriented with a high sense of urgency.
• Thorough knowledge of BAC products and manufacturing processes.
• Cross functional effectiveness across engineering, sales, applications, manufacturing, contracts, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for internal or external complex or strategic projects and lead scope and reviews.
• Produce and manage documentation to meet internal and customer requirements and project schedule.
• Coordinate with BAC departments and external contractors for purchasing, documentation, inspections, shipping, startups and testing.
• Manage deadlines of key milestones in the project cycle and provide updates to leadership.
• Lead meetings to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Implement approved modifications with full documentation and drive continuous process improvement.
