Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) is seeking a Senior Engineer, Advanced Controls Applications, to independently develop and implement controls solutions for complex customer applications. You will lead technical portions of projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, controls, mechatronics, or related engineering field required; advanced degree preferred.
• ~ 8+ years of relevant, progressively responsible experience in industrial controls, automation, HVAC controls, or related engineering disciplines.
• Proven experience solving complex engineering problems and leading technical efforts on high-impact applications.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems, industrial communication networks, and system integration.
• Prior experience in applications engineering and/or customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver controls solutions for complex, non-standard applications and high-value opportunities.
• Analyze technical data and make engineering decisions aligned with standards and objectives.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and customer-facing documentation.
• Coordinate with thermal, mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and product engineering teams.
• Engage with vendors and manufacturing facilities to support project execution and resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
