Job summary

Matrix Service Inc. is seeking a Field Site Project Coordinator to provide field-level support for multi-discipline projects in the Republic, WA area.

Under supervision from the Project Manager, you will review RFQs, estimate change orders, support active construction, and help ensure project success within policy and procedures. You will represent the company at meetings, prepare detailed estimates, plan field staffing, and monitor safety, quality, budget and schedule while collaborating with

Qualifications

• 0-2 years job-related experience; construction experience preferred.
• 4-year degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management; or equivalent education with 2 years experience.
• Knowledge of corporate and industry practices and their impact on project activities.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction, design, finance and project management.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel to site; based in Wood Buffalo region for field execution on a 10-on, 4-off schedule.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and company core values.
• Represents the company at bid, project and strategy meetings as applicable.
• Prepares complete project estimates with detailed proposal review.
• Plans, organises and staffs key field positions through department heads.
• Supervises on-site field supervision to meet design, quality, budget and schedule.
• Provides technical interpretation of drawings and recommends methods/equipment.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts while maintaining client relations.
