Job summary

Matrix Project Services is seeking a Field QC Site Supervisor in Washington to lead and supervise quality control functions on active projects. You will promote safety, implement QA programs, and coordinate with owners and regulators to ensure contract compliance.

The role requires extensive QA experience on construction projects, strong supervisory and communication skills, and adherence to company ethics. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or minimum 5 years QC experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency QA and QC activities.
• Experience on similar facilities under construction.
• Proven ability to supervise personnel and excellent communication skills.
• Advanced degree or training is desirable.
• AWS CWI required; API preferred; working knowledge of ASME SEC. V, VIII, IX, B31.1, B31.3, API650/653, NBIC and AWS is required.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively support safety and Core Values.
• Represent the Company with high ethical standards and conduct.
• Promote and ensure safety for QA personnel.
• Prepare and implement QA program manual per contract and requirements.
• Perform audits and notify management of quality problems.
• Conduct inspections and witness tests as required.
• Provide administrative and technical direction to QA personnel.
• Liaise with owner, regulators, subcontractors on quality matters.
• Ensure QA standards are implemented and corrective actions taken.
• Perform other duties as directed by QA Manager.
