As a Field Program Manager within our Specialty Welding & Machining business unit, you will lead projects at Nuclear Power Plants, focusing on Feedwater Heater/Heat Exchanger replacements and nuclear system piping repairs, including welding, machining, NDE, and related activities. This role is based out of our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA, and reports directly to the Manager of Field Service Operations. This is a remote position.

Your Day-to-Day

1. Manage all project processes on high-complexity projects or a portfolio at client sites, leading multidisciplinary teams including Project Controls, Engineering, and Project Managers.
2. Participate in Bid-to-Book processes, overseeing and contributing to cost estimates and offers, supporting negotiations, and advocating for Westinghouse value-added opportunities.
3. Complete project planning, including developing management plans, schedules, cost baselines, risk and stakeholder registers, following Westinghouse standards.
4. Drive project execution to ensure safe, first-time quality delivery, maintaining schedules, financials, logging performance, and managing stakeholders. Develop recovery plans as needed.
5. Ensure proper project closure, archiving all relevant documentation, performing quality assessments, and sharing lessons learned.
6. Build positive relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders to facilitate project success and identify new business opportunities.
7. Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, exploring cost-sharing opportunities with clients.

Who You Are

1. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Science, or Construction Management.
2. 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience with high-complexity nuclear projects; 10+ years preferred.
3. Experience with Nuclear Power Plant construction, outages, and compliance with NQA-1 and safety standards.
4. Leadership experience with union/non-union teams in pipe fitting, boilermaking, welding, and nuclear piping repairs.
5. PMP certification or equivalent required; Lean Six Sigma highly desired.
6. Willingness to support outside of typical hours and travel as needed.
7. Strong communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
