Valmet is seeking a proactive engineer-seller to establish relationships with mill personnel and grow the doctoring market across the Midwest. You will travel frequently to consult, sell, and service doctoring parts and solutions, helping customers identify improvements in their production processes.

You will also perform mill services such as audits and inventories and quote prospective agreements while maintaining territory forecasts and call reports.

Qualifications

• Proactive and curious mindset with education/experience in mechanical engineering and/or paper sciences.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S. territory to support customers.

Responsabilités

• Establish professional relationships with mill personnel such as maintenance, reliability, purchasing, and production.
• Grow our market in doctoring and sell Valmet doctoring parts and solutions.
• Travel frequently to customer sites for consulting, selling and servicing Valmet doctoring solutions.
• Identify potential areas for improvement in customers' production processes related to the products.
• Perform mill services including audits, parts inventories, and evaluations at assigned accounts.
• Quote and secure orders for prospective agreements from existing and potential customers.
• Provide territory forecast/budget for assigned accounts and maintain call reports; monitor market and competition.
• Support customers throughout the Midwest region of the United States with frequent travel.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in Paper Science or Mechanical Engineering
