Job summary

Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio, and seeks a senior procurement leader to manage field procurement activities at the project site. You will ensure compliance with global policies and supervise Field Procurement staff while coordinating material flow from receipt to issue.

You will design staffing plans, monitor performance, and work with management and the client to align recruitment, training, and long-term workforce needs for the project.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree with 13–19 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Field Procurement operations at temporary operating locations.
• Strong supervision and personnel administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Field Purchasing, Expediting, Traffic & Logistics, and Materials Management.
• Receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of all materials and equipment.
• Plan staffing and career development for Field Procurement personnel.
• Prepare work hour estimates and organizational charts for project activities.
• Establish staffing requirements and secure client approval for resources.
