Job summary

Whataburger is hiring a Preventive Maintenance Technician to keep our restaurants running safely across the Georgetown area and surrounding markets. You’ll perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen systems, troubleshoot issues, and execute repairs to minimize downtime.

You will travel locally to partner with Operations and MSC Leadership, maintaining strong relationships with field teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel locally and long distances to worksites and meetings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Whataburger MVR standards.

Responsibilities

• Support an average of 40-45 restaurants.
• Work an average of 42 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and facility systems.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks and service calls to maintain brand standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and inspections to identify issues early and escalate as needed.
• Manage maintenance work orders accurately using mobile technology and systems.
