Loudoun Water is seeking an Industrial Pretreatment Technician at the Broad Run Water Reclamation Facility to safeguard POTW infrastructure and the environment. The role covers inspections, sampling, documentation, and regulatory compliance, with field support for coordinators.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 40 pounds. VA Wastewater licenses are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; math and science coursework preferred.

• VA Wastewater licenses of all classes encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect grease control devices, sedimentation tanks, and other pretreatment systems.
• Collect wastewater samples following established procedures.
• Maintain detailed inspection documentation and sampling records.
• Verify compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Assist Pretreatment Coordinators with fieldwork and data review.
• Calibrate and maintain environmental monitoring equipment.
• Communicate findings with facility representatives and staff.
