Job summary

Ground / Water Treatment & Technology (GWTT) is seeking an Industrial Licensed Operator in Colonial Heights, VA. The role requires a current wastewater license and a minimum of 6 years of process or water treatment experience.

The successful candidate will monitor and operate treatment systems, collect samples, conduct preventive maintenance, and coordinate with clients, engineers, and field staff. A strong safety record and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of relevant process and/or water treatment experience.
• A valid Industrial Wastewater Operator's license is required.
• Ability to train, direct and coordinate O&M staff and oversee subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and site safety compliance.
• Ensure treatment systems meet permit equivalencies.
• Interact with client organizations and site personnel.
• Lead troubleshooting and emergency response efforts.
• Prepare and review DMRS and reports.
• Operate and monitor process equipment and controls.
• Collect and test samples and maintain records.
• Perform preventive maintenance per O&M guidelines.
