Job summary

The Indianapolis area risk-experienced Troubles Technician role at The AES Corporation requires a first class A/B lineman with a track record of safety and reliability on electric utility systems. Qualifications

• Must be a first class A or B lineman with previous experience as such.
• Be willing to work from any operating center and on any shift including holidays.
• Physical fitness, attendance, safety and performance records are considered.

Responsibilities

• Restore interrupted electric service on transmission, distribution and customer premises.
• Perform switching, load tests, repairs, and safety clearances as directed.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, replace lines, and restore service promptly.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, other crews and customers for safe operation.
