Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot, repair, recondition, and maintain generators, switchgear, ATS, electrical systems, engines and components in field environments, including hyperscale data centers.

Work in adverse weather, travel to remote locations, and communicate health and status of equipment to clients and management. Must hold a valid CDL if required and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Required DOT licensing, medical card, and endorsements as vehicle size dictates.
• Minimum 6 months related experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Maintain client relations and support marketing objectives.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Travel to remote locations as needed.
• Work overtime as needed.
