Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot, repair, recondition and maintain generators, switchgear, ATS and electrical systems in field environments, including hyperscale data centers. You will communicate findings to clients and management, prepare service reports, and travel to remote locations as needed. The role requires English proficiency and may require DOT licensing and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have current driver’s license and DOT licensing/medical card as required.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and components in field environments.
• Prepare service reports and communicate findings to clients and management.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs while maintaining safety and quality.
• Travel to remote locations as needed and work overtime when required.
• Provide on-the-job training to technicians and helpers as assigned.
