Job summary

SITECH Western States in Missoula, MT seeks a field service technician to perform contracted maintenance on diesel and gas power systems. You will work under supervision, service generator packages and industrial engines, assist with load bank testing, and document activities on service reports.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 3 years in power systems maintenance, own basic tools, and be able to travel. DOT requirements and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree from vocational school preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of Power Systems products.
• Must own required tools and meet DOT requirements.
• Must communicate in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on generator packages, industrial engines, and power system components.
• Assist senior technicians with load bank testing and cabling tasks.
• Prepare service reports, work orders, parts lists and time cards accurately.
• Adhere to customer requirements and safety policies on job sites.
• Support field technicians and contribute to safety initiatives.
