Job summary

Western States Equipment is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform contracted maintenance on Power Systems equipment, including generator and engine packages, at customer sites in Idaho. You will assist senior techs, troubleshoot, and document service activities while upholding safety and customer care standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of Power Systems experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to travel frequently. Tools ownership and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of troubleshooting and maintenance experience for Power Systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on generator and power system components.
• Assist senior technicians with load bank testing.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs.
• Prepare service reports and work orders in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety policies and customer requirements.
• Travel to customer sites; maintain professional conduct.
• May participate in training and company initiatives.
• Maintain professional image and accountability.
