Job summary

Intrepid Global Solutions in the United States seeks an Electrical Power Production Technician to install, operate, and service electrical generating plants and power distribution equipment.

You will read wiring and schematic diagrams, tune engine-generator sets, test with precision instruments, and maintain records while upholding safety and environmental procedures. Travel to deployed locations is required.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years operation and maintenance experience in engines, generators, and distribution components of electric power production equipment.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety practices.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 100% to deployed locations and obtain necessary clearances.

Responsibilities

• Installs and operates electrical power plants and distribution equipment.
• Performs inspections, tests, and maintenance of generators, switchgear, and related systems.
• Interprets data from meters and gauges to prevent faults and improve performance.
• Maintains production records and updates maintenance procedures.
