Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. seeks a field service technician to troubleshoot, repair, recondition and maintain generators, switchgear, ATS, electrical systems, engines and components in field environments, including hyperscale data centers.

Travel to remote locations for extended overnight stays may be required. You will communicate clearly with clients and management, prepare service reports, plan costs, and operate diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license.
• DOT licensing, medical card, and endorsements as vehicle size dictates.
• Experience in field service or equipment maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, recondition, and maintain generators, switchgear, ATS, electrical systems, engines and components in field environments.
• Prepare service reports and plan/Control cost of repairs.
• Maintain client relations and ensure safety policies are followed.
