Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Field Technician to complete assigned field jobs with minimal supervision, including removing and installing parts and testing assemblies.

You will perform repairs in both field and shop environments, access work orders and databases, and ensure accurate quotes and timely completion. A CDL and ability to travel up to 85% are required; safety-sensitive role with strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience or training.
• General knowledge of diesel/gas engines and mechanical systems.
• Clean driving record; CDL or ability to obtain CDL within 60 days; must be 21+.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, laptops, diagnostic software and cranes/rigging equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and manuals; write routine reports.
• Knowledge of database software and order processing systems; able to provide quotes.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Provide repair recommendations and perform minor service repairs in field and shop.
• Access work orders, parts orders, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, STW to complete jobs accurately and timely.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble/assemble components, and test assemblies with minimal supervision.
