Job summary

Thompson Machinery seeks a Field Service Preventative Maintenance Technician to service Caterpillar diesel equipment and other brands at customer sites. You will perform oil changes, filter changes, and inspect for post-service issues following EPA guidelines.

This field-based role is largely independent, operates from a company lube truck, and requires travel with a CDL Class B. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• PM Technician training or service and maintenance training preferred.
• 1–2 years of PM technical experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical instructions, safety manuals and policies.
• Provide lube service on construction equipment and engines.
• Lift up to 25-30 pounds when needed.
• Travel as required and work independently in remote locations.
