Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is hiring a skilled Travel Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our nationwide fleet maintenance team. This role involves 100% travel, diagnosing and repairing diesel and heavy-truck systems, and ensuring fleet reliability.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of diesel maintenance experience, A/C and electrical diagnostics ability, and the stamina to travel and work in dynamic environments. Competitive weekly pay with full benefits within 30 days.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
5+ years maintenance on heavy duty tractors and trailers.
Experience with aftertreatment, A/C repair, and electrical diagnostics.
Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle to assess proper operation.
Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox for the role.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium to heavy duty fleet vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and document repairs.
Inspect vehicles to meet safety and compliance standards.
Maintain clean and organized work area and tools.
Travel up to 100% and coordinate with Fleet Managers.
