Job summary

Authority Brands in Indianapolis is seeking a Plumbing Advisor to drive field sales outside the office for more than 50% of each work week. You will identify client needs and convert prospects into satisfied customers while meeting annual sales requirements.

You will maintain high closing ratios, follow the brand’s sales processes, perform thorough on-site surveys, and ensure accurate paperwork. Build lasting customer relationships with professionalism on every call.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework in sales/marketing or business administration preferred.
• Industry and territory knowledge required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented and well organized.
• Self-motivated, results-driven individual.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a 70% closing ratio on plumber-generated leads.
• Maintain a 50% closing ratio on marketed leads.
• Maintain an average sale price set forth by the brand.
• Utilize the Company’s Sales System on every call.
• Perform a complete required survey on every call.
• Complete all paperwork timely and accurately on all leads, including financing paperwork and the collection of cash payments.
• Conduct daily activities with honesty, integrity and a positive attitude toward fellow Team Members and customers.
• Must maintain promptness, arriving at all appointments and meeting ahead of schedule.
• Must be accessible by phone at all times, other than scheduled vacations or holidays.
• Obey, teach, and enforce the Code of Ethics, Team Rules and Team Philosophy.
