Job summary

Targa Resources in Mont Belvieu, TX is seeking a Pipeline Technician to support field operation of pipelines and facilities moving Liquid NGL products. You will balance surveillance and maintenance to preserve pipeline integrity and respond quickly to abnormal conditions to protect people and the environment.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, system testing, equipment repairs, and documenting service reports. Willingness to work overtime and comply with PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–5 years related field experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Train and obtain DOT qualifications for pipeline tasks.
• Perform routine field startup/shutdown of facility equipment.
• Recognize malfunctions and take corrective action, including shutdowns if needed.
• Prepare and analyze operational and regulatory reports.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Attend safety meetings and training as required.
