Job summary

DT Midstream, Inc. is seeking a Technical Operator for Midwestern Gas Transmission in Portland, TN. The role focuses on daily operations and maintenance of natural gas compressor stations and gathering systems.

You will perform startup/shutdown tasks, inspections, and safety-driven operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient service delivery. A strong mechanical background and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of experience in valve maintenance, leak surveys, or related technical fields (Level II).
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate natural gas compressor stations and gathering systems daily.
• Perform routine inspections, start-up/shut-down, and adjustments to equipment.
• Conduct gas leakage surveys and pipeline patrols; locate underground pipelines.
• Maintain equipment by replacing filters, gaskets, valves, and light maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate record-keeping.
