Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a field position to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment, and facilities. The role supports operation and maintenance of gas and liquid systems, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and experience levels range from entry to advanced depending on level A/B/C. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and strong organizational and communication skills; MS Office proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Level C requires 0–2 years, Level B 2–4 years, Level A 4+ years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team settings, strong communication, and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and operate facilities including pipelines, valves, filters, pumps, gas compressors, storage tanks, and pump stations.
• Conduct damage prevention activities: pipeline patrols, locating, marking, and inspections.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA) and complete associated documentation.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks; coordinate with employees and contractors.
• Communicate with landowners, public agencies, contractors, utilities, and other operators.
• Participate in safety programs and follow policies; provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
• Perform energy isolation lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO).
