Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking PLI Technicians to support our West Region operations across the US. You will conduct pipeline field examinations, analyze data, and contribute to integrity reporting as part of the Pipeline Integrity Services group.

Position involves extensive field work (about 90%), travel across the US, and time at the home division location (about 10%). You will work independently in remote areas and assist with reporting and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college pursued preferred; technical background is desired.
• Experience in pipeline integrity or maintenance positions is required.
• Current Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2 and Ultrasonic Thickness Level 2 are required.
• At least one of the listed certifications is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and operate in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to procedures and prepare client reports.
• Perform direct assessment of pipe condition and coating reviews.
• Examine pipes for cracks, corrosion, deformation, and anomalies.
• Correlate features to ILI logs and support fit-for-service evaluations.
• Conduct hazard assessments and follow safe work practices.
• Calibrate and set up NDE equipment and manage assets.
• Write inspection reports and assist junior technicians.
• Maintain databases and participate in customer meetings.
• Assist with dig packages and cost estimating.
