Job summary

TAIT is seeking an experienced Petroleum Service Technician to service UST/AST systems at gas stations, marinas, airports, and other facilities. You will perform testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while ensuring regulatory compliance and professional client communication in the field.

Training and travel are required, with substantial overnight travel during peak seasons. The role requires 2-4+ years of hands-on petroleum equipment experience and current ICC UST/AST and

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years in petroleum equipment service or related role.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing UST/AST equipment.
• ICC UST/AST certification current or recent.
• Veeder-Root installation/service certification current.
• Knowledge of compliance testing and industry regulations.
• Experience completing service reports and compliance docs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete required training, including 40-hour HAZWOPER.
• Perform compliance tests (spill bucket, vapor recovery, A/B inspections).
• Troubleshoot and repair UST/AST equipment.
• Submit reports and timecards using our digital system.
• Communicate with clients and represent TAIT professionally.
• Work independently and follow all safety protocols.
